What is “Asian handicap”?

Asian handicap is different than the normal handicap because it offers quarter, half, and three quarter handicaps (0:1/4, 0:1/2, 0:3/4, 0:1 1/4...). For every type of this handicap there are different rules. Odds for Asian handicap are between 1,8 i 2,0. Advantages of Asian handicap are:

There is no draw in Asian handicap, so Your possible profit is automatically increased from 33% to 50%
If a game with quarter handicap finishes with a draw and You lose the bet, then half of the money is returned to You
Depending on the handicap, You can win a bet even the team You bet on doesn’t win.
You can bet on a team You don’t think will win the game and still win the bet because of the big handicap

Examples by the type of handicap

Asian handicap 0:0

If there is no favorite in that game than the handicap will be 0:0, which means that one team doesn’t have starting advantage. If a team wins the bet is won. If the result is a draw Your stake is returned.

Asian handicap 0:1/4 (-0,25; +0,25)

handicap -0,25

If a team You played handicap on win by any margin, bet is won. If it is a draw, You lose half of the stake and half is returned. If they lose You lose the bet.

handicap +0,25

If a team You played handicap on, no matter the result, the bet is won. If the result is a draw half of the stake is returned to You and the other half is bet on the odd.

Asian handicap 0:1/2 (-0,5; +0,5)

With 1/2 handicap You can win or lose the bet. Possibility of a draw doesn’t exist.

If the team You played handicap on wins, You win the bet. If it draws or loses, You lose the bet.

handicap +0,5

If the team You played handicap on wins or draws, You win the bet. If it loses You lose the bet.

Asian handicap 0:3/4 (-0,75; +0,75)

If the team You played handicap on wins with 2 or more goals difference, You win the bet. If it wins by 1 goal difference, half of the stake is returned, and half is bet on the odd. If it draws or loses, You lose the bet.

handicap +0,75

If the team You played handicap on wins or draws You win the bet. If they lose by one goal difference half of the stake is returned to You. If they lose by 2 or more goals difference You lose the bet.

Asian handicap 0:1 (-1,0; +1,0)

handicap -1,0

If the team You played handicap on wins by 2 or more goals difference, You win the bet. If they win by 1 goal difference the whole stake is returned to You. If they draw or lose, You lose the bet

handicap +1,0

If the team You played handicap wins or draws. If they lose by 1 goal difference the whole stake is returned to You. If they lose by 2 or more goals difference, You lose the bet.

Asian handicap 0:1 1/4 (-1,25; +1,25)

handicap -1,25

If the team You played handicap on wins by 2 or more goals difference, You win the bet. If they win by 1 goal difference half of the stake is returned to You. If they draw or lose, You lose the bet.

handicap +1,25

If the team You played handicap on wins or draws, You win the bet. If they lose by 1 goal difference, half of the stake is returned to You and half is bet on the odd. If they lose with 2 or more goals, You lose the bet.

Asian handicap 0:1 1/2 (-1,5; +1,5)

handicap -1,5

If the Team You played handicap on wins by 2 or more goals difference, You win the bet. In case of all other outcomes You lose.

handicap +1,5

If the team You played handicap on loses by 1 goal difference, draws or wins, You win the bet. If they lose with 2 or more goals difference You lose the bet.

Asian handicap 0:1 3/4 (-1,75; +1,75)

handicap -1,75

If the team You played handicap on wins by 3 or more goals difference, You win the bet. If they win by 2 goals difference, half of the stake is returned to You and half is bet on the odd. If they win by 1 goal difference, draw or lose, You lose the bet.

handicap +1,75

If the team You played handicap on loses by 1 goal difference, draws or wins, You win the bet. If they lose by 2 goals difference, half of the stake is returned to You. If they lose with 3 or more goals difference You lose the bet.
